Single ply roofing systems

Single ply roofing provides solutions for both refurbishment and new build projects, and offers great flexibility whilst not compromising on durability.

Single ply creates a roof that is lightweight and flexible at good value. The system is mechanically fastened or adhered to the roof and each single ply membrane is sealed and connected to ensure water-tightness.

This method can be utilised on flat, pitched and irregular roof forms. A single ply roof is a great foundation for a green roof to be laid on top of.

Kingsley Roofing have been approved as installers for many leading industry manufacturers, such as Icopal, Danosa and Bauder.

Green roof systems

Green roof systems are increasing in popularity, as they offer many benefits:

  • Excess water is controlled, with much being conserved, as even the thinnest green roof system can absorb up to 40% of average rainfall! Any remaining water drains off slower than on a standard roof. Deeper soil can absorb up to 90% of average rainfall in intensive green roofing systems.
  • Each green roof produces a microclimate, particularly of use in towns and cities to provide habitats for local wildlife, increasing the biodiversity of areas. They also are aesthetically pleasing and offer a beautiful eco-friendly finish to a plain flat roof.
  • They help reduce noise levels, which is pertinent for buildings close to loud airports or industrial developments.

Kingsley Roofing have installed numerous green roofs across the the South and South East. Get in touch to learn more.

Liquid flat roofing systems
Liquid roofing deliveres many benefits, not least that it can be used on a vast range of roofs. It’s a homogenous system so it has no laps or seams and provides a quality finish even on areas traditional roofing methods would struggle with. A range of finishes and colours are available to suit your desires.
Kingsley Roofing can install various liquid waterproofing systems including Kemper, Sealoflex and Elastoflex, and we are approved to do so, often producing an insurance-backed guarantee.
Traditional felt roof systems

Built up felt roofing is traditional for a reason: it’s one of the most versatile systems and still a proves popular in today’s market. With a similar cost to single ply, it’s also very durable.

Kingsley Roofing are approved installers for the felt systems manufactured by leading companies, such as Bauder, Icopal, Axter, Danosa and Triflex.

Flame free felt systems
Where site conditions or customer choice prohibit the use of hot works, flame free systems are available. They are either mechanically fixed or adhered to the roof.

Kingsley Roofing are part of the Safe2Torch Campaign and we advocate for flame-free systems wherever possible.
