As a Trainee Estimator, you'll have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment while working on exciting projects across the South and South East of England.

  • Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, enabling you to handle complex pricing calculations and accurately interpret project data.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and client satisfaction.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing project requirements.


  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with estimating software is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in estimation or a related field is desirable, but not essential.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing: Assist in the estimation and pricing of projects, utilising your analytical skills to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
  • Surveys and Reports: Conduct thorough surveys, gather relevant data, and prepare comprehensive reports to support project estimation and decision-making.
  • Excellent Service Delivery: Collaborate with our experienced team to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of projects while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  • Client Contact and Communication: Engage in clear and professional communication with clients, addressing their inquiries, providing updates, and fostering strong relationships.
