Domestic Leadwork

Kingsley undertake a large number of leadwork jobs using traditional craftsmanship and materials.  When correctly made and fixed to the highest standards leadwork will last for up to 100 years, and whilst giving a beautiful finish this also means you won’t have to worry about a leaky roof again.  Lead is without a doubt a valuable weather protection for many traditional buildings in Britain.  It can be skilfully used to bridge junctions between walls and roofs when at awkward angles and can also be used in guttering or flashing.  Our combined skills of both leadwork and slating give many of our roofs a very aesthetically pleasing look.

Benefits of using Lead:
Lead is malleable and soft meaning it can be easily manipulated and through bossing can be made to fit multiple types of profiled tiles whilst also being made into complicated shapes.  Rolled lead sheet can provide  maintenance free cover for over 100 years because of its resistance to corrosion.
