Asbestos Survey

We carry out two types of Asbestos survey:

1) A management survey.  This survey includes standard sampling, identification and assessment of the affected areas.
2) Pre-demolition and refurbishment survey.  This includes a full access sampling and identification process.

Requirements (Why our services are necessary)

The Control of Asbestos Regulations (2006) requires the duty holder to manage asbestos in non-domestic properties in the following ways:

• Reasonable steps must be taken to find asbestos in the premises and assess the conditions
• Presume materials contain asbestos unless there is strong evidence to prove otherwise
• Prepare a record of the location and condition of potential affected areas
• Prepare and implement a plan to manage the risks of asbestos
• Annual Checks must be made where asbestos is present
